We have teamed up with Danish supermodel and Plan International Denmark ambassador Josephine Skriver in a special design collaboration – produced locally in Denmark with a strong focus on supporting girls and women in need.
Josephine Skriver is given full creative freedom to design her own version of the fashion house’s iconic #101 t-shirt in both adult and kids’ versions. As always, the t-shirt is 100% Danish-made – knitted in Ikast, dyed in Herning, and sewn in Korsør. The color palette refers to Plan International’s signature blue, combined with classic white and a unique collab neck-label.
A Value-driven Collaboration
The initiative is rooted in a shared ambition to use creativity and privilege to make a meaningful impact for girls and women worldwide. For both Josephine Skriver and Mads Nørgaard, fashion is not just about aesthetics – it’s also about responsibility, empathy, and the power to inspire change.
Josephine Skriver has been an active ambassador for Plan International for several years, advocating especially for gender equality and girls’ access to education and protection. That’s why the proceeds from this special #101 edition will be donated to Plan International’s Girls Fund, supporting their work to promote the rights and equality of girls and women in some of the world’s most at-risk areas.
"I’ve met women who have to fight incredibly hard just to have their rights respected, to access education, and to generate income. They are some of the strongest women I’ve ever met, yet they rarely get the recognition they deserve. That’s why it means a lot to me to use the opportunities I have to support Plan International’s work for girls’ and women’s rights – to give them a better shot at a brighter future." – Josephine Skriver
At Mads Nørgaard – Copenhagen, gender equality is not just a goal but a core value. We work actively on promoting equal opportunities and representation through meaningful partnerships.
"We are acutely aware of the responsibility that comes with being a fashion brand. How can we make a positive difference in an industry that is, by definition, not sustainable? Especially now, when international development aid is under pressure, we’re proud to support Josephine and Plan International’s important work. And we are incredibly proud of the beautiful new #101 design that Josephine has created." – Mads Nørgaard
With Plan International as a strong international partner, the goal is to give vulnerable girls and young women better opportunities for the future.
"We know there’s enormous potential in girls’ and women’s education. Yet, we’re seeing a world where support for gender equality is under threat in many places. Every year a girl stays in school, her future income can increase by up to 20%. Failing to provide education to girls and women in vulnerable communities will have serious consequences – not just for them, but for the world. That’s why we’re incredibly grateful for the support from Mads Nørgaard and Josephine Skriver" – Dorthe Petersen, CEO of Plan International Denmark
